In the summer of 2010, Wes Coas has recorded a mixtape with Former Dr. Dre artist, Knoc-Turn'al (came in at #2 on Datpiff's Hottes Mixtapes of the week, with total site tallies of over 60,000 downloads). A 2 week tour in Osaka, Japan, and also a 5-state regional Tour. All while running his internet radio show "Wes Coas Radio" on Wednesday nights. He's also released 6 projects in 2010. Wes Coas is a rapper who was born in Compton, California, but resides in Houston, Tx . Wes Coas is a hybrid artist in hip hop with the vocal tones and intensity of an early Ice Cube and the lyricism of a Jay-z or Nas. It's a rare combination of talent and drive that pushes his music. While living Down South he as adapted his style and sound to fit in the same city that plays home to artist such as ScarFace and UGK.
