Smokin wit G5Gi on Ear Drum Kush, the mixtape.

Siitin down to smoke on the Ear Drum Kush, what's a guy gonna say, if that's really Drake on the track? he got instant respect from the young Djs, and good on him. "Maria", is a great track, nice flow, nice payin homage for sure on the beat. Organic Hip-Hop seems like it is on the come back once again so G5-Gi feels like now is as good a time to leave his mark on the industry. Coming out of Upstate New York G5-Gi has the most unique and distinctive sound you can get going. He manages to put it all together. You can hear it "I'm Good" is old school jazzy, and got some new day movement too, hard to combine but he does it well.

"In Take Off" you totally hear New York, probably my favorite track of the tape. Some real thug style kush, underground blunt beat. Bangin, for sure. It's criminal that the flow lasts only 1min 31 seconds. Appearing on the 'So Far Gone' Tour with Drake G5-Gi has definitely made a dent in the “who’s who” of Indie Music. "Fly Nigga" pushes the NYC swag further, flashy and real fly for sure. "Everywhere I go" got some nice Reggae beat too, reppin for New York in a big way.  The rap on this is super real, history has been written. Will you be a witness? G5-Gi is out now to become one of the most visible indie music artists in the industry.

"Loose Control" good reminds me of the old fun cypress hill, insane in the membrane stuff, but this is supa chill, bumpin beat. “Psychotic Hypnotic” produced by Pittsburgh native Johnny Juliano is great too. Track 16 on the beat. Even the young boy is boucin to it. An he's not a fan of hip hop or rap. So, it soundin good. So this is where I leave you, to get on the beat yourself. Roll up a blunt, and puff one off listenin to, G5Gi so go download the mixtape, hit his ass up Twitter, and check him out on Myspace. Comment below if you think know him!
