Mick Boogie Presents : KINGPIN " The Journey"

Detroit
Artist Kingpin has teamed up with Mick Boogie and is now gearing to release his new mixtape titled "The Journey" to the public featuring a large portion of original music.

The Detroit musician is preparing to release his new mixtape, titled "The Journey." He has been crafting the mixtape for nearly a year, and it will feature production from upcoming mid-west producers.  The artist also plans to release radio singles which are also featured on the "The Journey."  This project will consist of approximately 20 tracks. He wants to make the music available to everyone, so it will be available as a free download through the artist's website and other hip hop portals. He has been featured on mixtapes with award winning hip hop DJ "DJ Vlad" currently the Vice President of SRC Records/Universal and was even featured on the Ghostride the Whip mixtape with other major artist.  Kingpin also worked with DJ Green Lantern, gaining a featured spot on "Lanterns" own "Invasion" mixtape series. After being picked as a finalist in a Nationwide competition sponsored by Major labels (Demo Fast Break) Kingpin released his very first mixtape in 2006. He has taken all these experiences and used them during the creation of this project. This artist has been writing, rhyming and recording songs for years.  While Kingpin has many influences, he describes this work as "the melting pot of years of hip hop". As it ranges from thought provoking ballads to up-tempo dance music. He loves hip-hop and hopes to continue to create good music for many years to come.
